Akhil Bharatiya Kenkre Vanshavali book was published in the year 1998. Since then, many had suggested to keep the information up to date by adding the information about newer generations. With advances in internet technology, it has become possible to keep the family data up to date. Though there were substantial difficulties to begin with.

My nephew Vishal Kekre took the initiative and helped us get the data to this technology platform. His father Umesh Kekre and his son Vrushank also contributed substantially in taking the initiative forward. I also did my bit.

We request brother members to come forward and contribute adding new data to this platform.

Our initiatives should not end at creating the Vanshavali; but we should be thinking of how to come together and contribute to progress of other family members. To begin with, we can think of meeting once a year for 3-4 days at Shri Mangeshi. In person meetings with make our introductions stronger; this should in turn be a fertile ground for new ideas, which we can collectively implement.
